Mode Minder allows you to re-enable sound after a set period of time.
Mode Minder is a simple app that will wait for you to silence your phone by setting it to vibrate or silent mode, and then will present a small timer, so you can choose how long you want your phone to remain silent.
For example, you might go to a movie and silence your phone so that it doesn't disturb other moviegoers.
Right as you do, the Mode Minder window will display, and you can tap '2 hours' or maybe '2.5 hours' to be safe.
Once you select a timer with one tap, Mode Minder will hide to your notification drawer. At that point, you can forget about it, and your sound will automatically be re-enabled after the movie, and you won't miss any important notifications!
(The notification will also disappear at this point. It is not persistent.)

Q: But what if I change my mind about using Mode Minder in the middle of the movie?
A: Let's say you realize at the end of the movie, that you've got a doctor's appointment so you want to just leave your phone on silent indefinitely, or until you decide to re-enable sound manually. No problem!
Just pull down on the Mode Minder notification with two fingers, and tap the "Disable timers" button. Silent mode will now remain enabled until you disable it manually.
Q: And what if I don't want Mode Minder in my notification drawer?
A: No problem. Just pull down on the notification with two fingers, and tap "Kill notification".
The notification will disappear, but the timer will keep running and your sound will be re-enabled after the specified duration.
Q: But what if I forget about Mode Minder and re-enable sound manually before the timer is up?
A: Still, no problem. Mode Minder will detect that you've re-enabled sound, and will cancel any timers that might be running.
It will react as normal the next time you silence your phone.
